Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actor. Numerous awards have been handed out to her including a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, as well as a BAFTA nomination. She is a member of the Barrymore family of actors, and the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was a renowned child actor because of her part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Following a highly publicized childhood plagued by drugs and alcohol addiction, she wrote an autobiography Little Girl Lost. Then, she appeared in a series of acclaimed films during the 1990s which included Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
